I wasn’t even trying to be messy. All I did was post a perfectly timed story, one cryptic lyric, one blurry pic of a drink, and a location tag just vague enough to make people squint. Within minutes, my DMs were chaos. Friends asking if I was back with him. His ex liking the story “by accident.” And him? Oh, he watched it. Twice.
By morning, three people were subtweeting each other, two girls had unfollowed him, and I had done nothing but sip a cocktail and let Instagram do the work.
Final Thought: Stories disappear after 24 hours, but the drama they spark can last a lifetime.
