You Can’t Miss Me If I’m Gone From Your Feed

Social media tricks us into thinking presence is permanent. That as long as we can scroll, tap, or search, someone will always be within reach. But the truth? Visibility is a privilege. And when I decided to block you, I reminded myself and you that access to my life isn’t forever.

You can’t miss me if you can’t see me. And that’s the point. My photos, my thoughts, my updates those are pieces of me I choose to share, not souvenirs anyone can hoard. Once you became a source of stress instead of support, that privilege ended.

Blocking you wasn’t about making you miss me. It was about making sure I didn’t miss myself. Because constantly curating how I looked in your eyes meant I was losing sight of who I was in mine. The day I removed you, I reclaimed my space. My feed went from a stage where I performed for the wrong audience to a gallery curated for peace, joy, and growth.

And if you do miss me? That’s not my problem. Because I’m not here to be consumed. I’m here to live.

Final Thought: My life isn’t public property, it’s a privilege you can lose.

Disclaimer: This is empowerment, not shade. Don’t confuse blocking with bitterness, it’s just boundaries.
