Self-awareness is cute, but it doesn’t equal transformation. Yes, I know my flaws. I could name them in alphabetical order. But knowing a problem and fixing a problem are two very different things. Growth is optional, and sometimes, I choose the mess.
I’ll talk about my toxic habits like they’re personality quirks. I’ll acknowledge my patterns, laugh about them, maybe even post a meme. But will I change? Not necessarily. Call it self-awareness, call it stubbornness, call it survival. I call it honesty.
Tessa’s Final Thought: Self-awareness is a mirror, not a magic wand. Just because I see the chaos doesn’t mean I’m putting it down.
Disclaimer: This blog is for entertainment only. Tessa is not responsible for your misplaced optimism that “knowing better” means “doing better.” Sometimes, it just means “posting about it.”
