I Don’t Chase Mixed Signals

I don’t chase mixed signals because clarity doesn’t run. When something is aligned, it doesn’t require pursuit, decoding, or emotional gymnastics just to stay engaged. Mixed signals aren’t mysterious. They’re misalignment with better lighting.

I used to treat inconsistency like a challenge. I’d tell myself patience was maturity and flexibility was strength. What it actually became was exhaustion. Mixed signals don’t resolve themselves. They stretch until you either accept the confusion or choose to step out of it.

I don’t chase hot-and-cold behavior. I don’t compete with distance. I don’t interpret hesitation as depth or inconsistency as intrigue. Interest that can’t stand upright without pressure isn’t interest I want to build on.

Aligned energy doesn’t leave you guessing. It doesn’t pull you close and disappear when direction is required. Mixed signals often come from someone enjoying access without offering clarity, and I’m no longer available for that dynamic.

I pay attention to what’s repeated, not what’s promised. Patterns tell the truth faster than words ever will. If the signal can’t stay consistent, I don’t try to stabilize it. I step back and let it be exactly what it is.

I don’t chase mixed signals because I don’t need to. What’s meant to connect doesn’t need to be hunted down or convinced. It meets you where you are, clearly.

Final Thought: Consistency Is the Bare Minimum

If you have to chase clarity, it probably isn’t there.

Disclaimer

This isn’t about being rigid or unavailable. It’s about refusing to romanticize confusion. Mixed signals aren’t chemistry. They’re information, and I listen the first time now.
