I’m not the type to chase.

Not your attention, not your energy, not your effort. I don’t believe in convincing someone to show up for me or trying to pull something out of someone that they’re not already choosing to give.

I just pay attention.

To the way you move, the way you respond, the way you show up when it’s easy… and when it’s not. I notice the consistency, the inconsistency, the effort, and the lack of it.

And I don’t ignore it.

That’s the difference.

I don’t need to ask for clarity when your actions are already giving it to me. I don’t need to chase something that’s meant to be mutual, and I don’t need to force a connection that’s already showing me where it stands.

And once I see it clearly, I adjust.
